A small historical reference

Dalnegorsk - a city in the Primorsky region, located 35 km from the coast of the Sea of Japan, on the banks of the River Ore. Date of establishment - 1897. Previous name - until 1972 miners' village Tetyukhe (from the Chinese "the valley of wild boar"). The city history begins with the discovery in 1897 by mining engineer S. Maslennikov in the spurs of the Sikhote-Alin deposit of lead and zinc ores. On the basis of field was created by the mining company, to take his development. By 1941 the Sikhote-Alin polymetallic plant was an already complex enterprise with complete production cycle of tin.

In Soviet times, the development of the village contributed to the discovery of a unique borosilicate ore deposits and construction of mining and chemical plant for the extraction, enrichment and production of boric acid grade "A" and "B", boric anhydride, calcium borate, datolite concentrate.
